My process includes setting up and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Gitlab or Github Actions and deploying applications in containerized environments with Docker and Kubernetes. Cloud vendor adverse, Grafana, Prometheus, Open Telemetry & Splunk provides critical insights into system health and performance.
Problem: People in a lower SES group have less frequent health checks and as a result often get diagnosed with preventable disease much later.
Solution: SmartAss functions as a comprehensive health dashboard providing a “Health Summary” for individual patients by consolidating key health data. It presents detailed results from Urine and Stool Analysis alongside essential Physical Markers, offering a holistic view of a patient’s status. The AI Integration was fun & I played a pivotal role in developing this app, leading the UXR, ideation, and design processes, executing the front-end development, and implementing FHIR for data exports, utilizing a tech stack centered around React, TypeScript, and Vitest.
A Chrome extension to help alleviate the cognitive load of critically thinking about the validity & potential bias of media search results
Problem: It’s incredibly challenging to quickly gauge the reliability and potential bias of online news sources. This “infodemic” makes it hard for users to make informed decisions and trust what they read.
Solution: Infodemic Fighter is a Javascript Chrome extension that directly addresses this. It provides immediate, clear indicators of political bias and factual reliability for news sources within search results. By offering instant context and deeper analysis tools with a simple click, it empowers users to navigate the information landscape with greater confidence and critical awareness, fostering better media literacy.
An Easy to use animation web app that uses some CSS trickery & browser magic to create high quality gifs in seconds. (30 or so)
Problem: Animations can be expensive. Sometimes you just want to upload an image, add some text, pick an animation and download it.
Solution: EZ-Animate.com offers the user a simple to use animation for their logos. Using the React Javascript framework & advanced CSS transitions along with some browser magic to capture the animation, this app make sit easy to create high-quality professional looking gifs.
Prompt Engineering Playground using Ollama for local LLM development

Problem: Most chat apps don’t allow for swapping models on the fly to test their responses on a case by case basis. They can be difficult to tweak, update or tune.
Solution: A full-stack Javascript app using React, Next & Node. It allows me to pre-prompt, change models on the fly and compare speed and quality to test new models when they are released.
